Age: 10 months
Weight: 24 pounds
Height: 30.5 inches
Clothes: 18 Months, although she is wearing a 2T jacket. Slow down baby girl!
Teeth: 8, PLUS her molars are already starting to swell. Can you believe it?
Eating: Grace loves to eat, and I am pretty sure she could spend all day just eating. She normally eats 3 table food meals that consist of whatever we are eating plus 3 8oz bottles at morning, noon, and bedtime. This is the schedule she set for herself, so I am just going with it.
Sleeping: Grace said goodbye to her 2nd nap at 8.5 months and still refuses to take 2 naps a day much to mommy's dismay. The good news is that since she only takes one 1.5-2 hr nap a day she sleep SO well at night. We are talking 6:30pm-7am without a peep. Normally she will wake around 7 for a bottle before going back to sleep for another hour or so. Yay! I feel like I am actually starting to catch up on my sleep from her newborn days.
New Developments: Recently, Grace has made a ton of new strides. She is starting to try to stand by herself, and even took her first step the other day! She is very strong-willed and continues to pull up only to let go, take a step and face-plant on to the floor... over and over. It is hard to watch, but she DOES NOT want mommy's help. Grace has also started saying "mama" and "dada" more often and continues to imitate any words we say. She has also turned into quite the social butterfly and loves meeting new people.
Loves: For the past couple of weeks Grace's favorite activity has been climbing the stairs. She gives us the biggest grin before barreling full speed towards the stairs. Then up she goes giggling the whole way. She has gotten pretty speedy at them. A big problem when people do not have baby gates. Grace also loves to put her toys away. She is always putting them into boxes or drawers. It is great because she never makes a mess. She puts all of them away when she is done playing. I just hope this behavior continues.
Dislikes: Diaper changes and getting dressed are at the top of Grace's dislike list followed closely by any car or stroller ride that lasts any longer than 20 minutes.
